Velvet below, thorns above. The contrast is set hard: an opaque matte base across which light does not slide but settles in bands, and a bristling luminous crown where every rib catches a beam.

Spiral ribbing winds around the body through its full height — a vertical that rotates slightly while standing still. Three tiers of the crown descend in steps, repeating that movement from above.

By day the lamp reads as a sculptural vessel with a large crown — dark, dense, almost stone-like. In the evening the light passes through the crown in vertical hatching and lights the neck: the violet fills and deepens, while the crown above it flares into sparks.

Living rooms, bedrooms, studies, private reception rooms — wherever light is needed without a ceiling fixing.

Style

Art Deco and contemporary opulence: deep colours, velvet, mirrors, brass fittings. The message is a jewel on a plinth — a composition about stone and faceting, set one upon the other.
