A composition about a field seen from above. The mass is packed element to element without a single gap — this is how a flowering field looks from height, where individual plants merge into unbroken colour. Closed buds, half-open cups and small berry spheres are mixed together: flowering is shown in every phase at once.

White butterflies are set across the field — there are few of them, they are larger than the rest and they work as pale accents in the dark mass. Gold beads are scattered between the elements.

By day the panel reads as a botanical specimen under magnification: deep violet-blue with a glossy glaze, dense and saturated. In the evening the backlight emerges as points between the elements — the glaze reflects it, the beads flare, the butterflies glow softly, and the surface begins to shimmer without losing the density of its colour. A field at dusk full of fireflies.
