A composition about repetition as rhythm. Every module is a separate graphic brushstroke; together they give repetition, symmetry and contrast. The light here is part of the visual rhythm rather than a function.
The column is assembled from "grain" modules in glossy enamel: in the white version, snowy purity in a chrome setting; in the gold one, a warm shine.
By day the gloss reflects the surroundings and gives the piece a futurist edge: the floor lamp reads as a sculpture living on borrowed light. In the evening a soft glow leaves the core of every module and balances the audacity of the form — the column turns warm while staying graphic.
Where it works
Solo as a sculpture beside an armchair, or in a pair framing a sofa group with a symmetrical rhythm. The piece speaks loudly — it needs an interior ready for that.
Style
Pop art and retro-futurism: the module instead of the ornament, gloss instead of texture. The message is audacious — a piece for an interior with character.
