The same wave stood upright. Clear blocks are assembled into a strict column inside which a fluid form rolls: strict outside, alive within.
The light does not come out directly — it slides along the bends, refracts and fills the mass with depth.
By day it is a clear column with a bubbled texture: a piece read through distortions and inner drawing, almost without mass. In the evening the light reveals the depth — the mass fills and the wave inside becomes visible entire. A black frame with turquoise light gives a nocturnal, electric reading; a gold one with warm light an intimate, jewel-like one.
Where it works
The corner of a living room, a study, a bedroom, a reception room. The vertical takes little floor area and works both as a source and as a sculpture.
Style
Contemporary minimalism and optical art: refraction as the content. The message is technical and mesmerising — a piece for an interior with contemporary taste.
The height, the finish of the frame and the colour of the light are all made to order.

Clear glass blocks are gathered into a strict geometry within which a flowing movement unfolds — a smooth wave, like a frozen stream of water or energy. The inner curves work as a light channel: the light does not come out directly but refracts, glides across the glass, heightening the depth and volume. Fine bubbles and inclusions within the material create the effect of ‘living’ glass — the light seems not switched on but enclosed within the form.
