A composition about the unopened. A pine cone, a bud, a cocoon — a form in which everything already exists but nothing has yet been shown. The author takes the image literally: pointed petals with a soft twist are laid overlapping in a spiral, each course covering the one before, the rim breaking off below in sharp tips.

The lower half of the column is deliberately left empty — bare rods only. The mass gathers at the top, at eye level: the object does not grow from the floor, it hangs like fruit on a branch.

By day it is a dense milky sculpture — opaque, cool, without a single highlight. In the evening a core wakes inside: through the slots between the petals a warm orange burning is visible, while the petals themselves stay milky and cold. That difference is the whole character of the piece: calm outside, heat within.

Where it works

Soft diffuse light and a vertical silhouette — living rooms, bedrooms, reception rooms, lounges, hotel rooms. It suits places that need not general light but a point of presence.

Style

Scandinavian minimalism and organic modernism: a pure natural form without ornament. The message is quiet and intimate — a piece for an interior that values silence and material clarity.
