Prototyping

How the elements of the compositions are born: every idea travels from concept to real object through a prototype — testing form, proportions and light diffusion before production begins.

Prototyping, or how the elements of Vargov®Design compositions are born

In the philosophy of Vargov®Design, every light composition is not simply a source of light but a work of art that demands the precision of a jeweller. To reach that level we built the prototyping of future elements into the making process. It is one of the key stages of our work, the point where creativity meets technology.

Prototyping is an inseparable part of how Vargov®Design works. Thanks to it, every idea travels from concept to real object with the greatest possible accuracy.

🔹 We check the form, the proportions and the way the light diffuses.

🔹 We save resources by catching mistakes before anything goes into production.

🔹 We give ourselves the freedom to experiment and to find the ideal solution.

🔹 We show clients the future piece before it is made in crystal, glass or ceramic.

When the result satisfies us completely, we hand the prototype over to our own Vargov®Design production, where the element is made in the "real" materials — ceramic, crystal, glass or metal. Prototyping thus becomes the link between an idea and the finished work. It is our tool for making the process faster, cleaner, more economical and more inventive. Where others are still guessing, we already know the result.

A form can be faked. An idea cannot. Are you keeping up with us?
