Gold at the MUSE Design Awards 2026

About the MUSE Design Awards
The MUSE Design Awards is an international design competition run by the New York-based International Awards Associate (IAA). Entries are assessed by a jury drawn from several countries, and awards are given in tiers: platinum, gold, silver and bronze.
The work itself is assessed — the idea, the execution and how well the object solves the task set for it; the panel brings together architects, interior and product designers, creative directors. That is why gold in a narrow category of bespoke lighting counts for more than a general certificate.

A composition about living matter. A ribbon of mirrored gold with torn edges is pierced by cells — the skeleton of a sea sponge; milky bubbles sit inside them like air caught in the rock. The structure seems to keep growing right on the wall.
Light is its breathing: it burns inside and comes out through the openings. By day the piece reads as a gold relief with milky inlays, tactile and intricate. In the evening the light escapes in warm patches and sharp golden glints — the coral starts to glow through its pores.
The composition works alone as a concentrated art accent, or in a series — then the coral spreads across the wall as a colony. Size, cell configuration and the number of elements are matched to the particular space.
A second MUSE award
This is the brand's second recognition at MUSE: in 2023 the LC0237 composition took platinum in the same category. Both entries are open on the award's own site, with the piece, category and tier stated — so the award can be checked rather than taken on trust.
In closing
