Light composition LC0591 Light compositions of curved glass tubes — as if lines of light had been drawn straight into the air. Each composition is assembled from glass tubes D70 mm, L1100 mm. Light passes within the form like a stream of energy. What is interesting about these objects is that they look at once technological and very much alive. In places they recall orbits of light, in others calligraphy, a long exposure of light in a frame or the neon trails of movement. Clear glass with coloured shades creates a sense of depth: by day the compositions look like suspended glass sculptures, in the evening they turn into graphics of light. It is interesting to watch how the character of the object changes: — some compositions look calm and flowing, — others recall a chaotic interweaving of orbits, — others still — almost architectural waves or ribbons of light in weightlessness.
