Light sculpture LC0421 This light composition is assembled from many ceramic elements. Each module recalls an organic form with openings from which warm light is softly born. The elements join into an extended spatial structure floating in the air on fine suspensions. The light is not directed — it ‘breathes’ from within, filling the form and emerging as soft light accents. Because of the varied orientation of the elements, the composition looks alive, flowing, as if in constant movement. Glossy ceramic reflects the light, heightening the depth and sculptural quality of the object, while a warm glow creates a sense of comfort and quiet. This composition works as a light sculpture — the centre of a space, the emotional accent of an interior. It fits organically into contemporary and art interiors, spaces with high ceilings, private residences and public areas.
