Light composition LC0597 Hundreds of vertically suspended glass elements form a dense, voluminous mass that looks both monumental and weightless at once. Matte green shades flow smoothly into deep scarlet accents, evoking a blooming field of poppies against an evening sky. Thanks to the varying drop heights and the complex rhythm of the elements, the object changes constantly as you move around it. From some angles the composition recalls an abstract forest of glowing leaves, from others a floating cloud structure filled with colour and light. By day the composition reads as a large artistic sculpture, and in the evening it turns into a light installation with a living inner glow. The inspiration for LC0597 was fields of blooming poppies — a symbol of the beauty, fragility and strength of nature, embodied in glass and light.
