1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how the operator — Anton Vargov (the Vargov® Design brand, “we”, the “Operator”) — processes and protects the personal data of visitors to vargov.ru and its related resources (the “Site”). The Policy has been prepared in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data”.

By using the Site and submitting your data through the contact forms, you confirm your agreement with this Policy.

2. What data we collect

  • Data you provide yourself — when filling in contact forms, requesting a consultation or getting in touch: name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, referral source, pages viewed and actions taken on the Site. Collected automatically via cookies and web analytics systems.
  • Data from social networks — when you arrive from a social network or interact with our posts, the platforms may pass on anonymised statistics.

3. Purposes of processing

  • responding to enquiries and handling requests for products and services;
  • informing you about Vargov® Design products, collections and events (with your consent);
  • traffic analytics and improvement of the Site;
  • marketing and display of relevant materials, including on social networks and advertising platforms (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook and others).

4. Legal grounds

Data is processed on the basis of your consent, for the performance of a contract, or on the basis of the Operator’s legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ.

5. Transfer of data to third parties

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be transferred to:

  • providers of the Site’s infrastructure and hosting;
  • web analytics services (for example, Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics);
  • social networks and advertising platforms (Pinterest, Meta and others) — in anonymised form for analytics and advertising;
  • state authorities — in the cases expressly provided for by law.

6. Cookies

The Site uses cookies for correct operation, remembering settings and analytics. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, although this may limit some functions of the Site.

7. Retention periods

Personal data is stored no longer than the purposes of processing require, or until your consent is withdrawn, unless another period is established by law.

8. Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about the processing of your data, to request its correction, blocking or deletion, and to withdraw your consent to processing. To do so, send a request to info@vargov.ru.

9. Data protection

We take the necessary organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against unlawful access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

10. Changes to the Policy

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page, stating the date it takes effect.

  • Website: vargov.ru

13. vargov.ru: forms, cookies and third-party services

In Sections 13–14, the “Site” means vargov.ru and its language versions; the 3D composition configurator (vargov.design, configurator.vargov.ru) and the dealer portal are not covered by these Sections.

13.1. Requests from the Site’s forms (the Contacts, Architects, Developers and Dealers pages) and technical specifications (the “Production brief” section) are received and stored by the Site’s server at the hosting provider Timeweb Cloud in Russia. The sender’s IP address and browser information are stored with the request to protect against automated spam, together with the address of the page the form was sent from and the consent mark with its date and time. Images attached to a technical specification are downsized in the browser, and location data is removed from them.

13.2. The server does not forward requests outside the Russian Federation. The Operator receives in the Telegram messenger only a notification with the request number and type, the article (if the request concerns a particular composition) and a link; the Operator views the request data itself on the Site after signing in. From a technical specification, only its number and revision, the number of compositions and the articles are sent to Telegram, as well as service notifications about the specification being confirmed, changed or deleted — without field values. If a request cannot be sent, the Site offers to write to the Operator by email or messenger; the visitor sends such a message themselves.

13.3. The Site uses the web analytics service Yandex Metrica (Yandex LLC, Russia). The counter loads only after the visitor clicks “Accept” in the cookie consent request. If the visitor declines, the counter does not load and no Metrica cookies are set.

After consent, Metrica sets its cookies (prefixed _ym) and receives the IP address, cookie identifier, browser and device information, page addresses, referral source, clicks, outbound link clicks and file downloads. It also receives Site events: request submission (stating only the request type), opening the 3D configurator, catalogue and manual downloads, and page errors. These events contain no name or contact details. Session recording (Webvisor) is not used. The counter does not run on technical specification pages.

13.4. The visitor’s choice is kept in their browser for 12 months, after which the consent request is shown again. The choice can be changed or consent withdrawn at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page of the Site. On withdrawal the counter is switched off, and the Metrica cookies set on the Site’s domain are deleted from the browser.

13.5. Without consent, the Site uses only what it needs to work:

  • in the visitor’s browser — favourite compositions, catalogue settings, the choice made in the cookie consent request and service flags;
  • for the Operator’s staff after signing in to the technical specifications section — the vs_mgr cookie, valid for 30 days.

This data is not passed to third parties.

13.6. On Russian-language pages videos are embedded from RuTube (Russia); on pages in other languages, from YouTube (Google LLC, USA). RuTube video covers are stored on the Site; YouTube video covers are loaded from Google’s servers when the page opens. The player loads only after the visitor clicks the video; from that moment the service receives the IP address, browser information and page address and may set its own cookies.

Photo search processes the picture in the browser and does not send it anywhere. For refined search — started by the “Refine search” button, or by the search itself when the quick result is unreliable — the browser loads a software library from cdn.jsdelivr.net and a recognition model from Hugging Face (huggingface.co), which receive the IP address and browser information.

13.7. The following data is transferred outside the Russian Federation:

  • to Google LLC (USA) — the IP address, browser information and page address when YouTube video covers are shown and videos are played on pages in languages other than Russian (clause 13.6);
  • to cdn.jsdelivr.net (outside the Russian Federation) and Hugging Face, Inc. (USA) — the IP address and browser information during refined photo search (clause 13.6).

Data from the Site’s forms is not transferred outside the Russian Federation (clause 13.2). The USA is not on the list of foreign states that ensure adequate protection of the rights of personal data subjects.

13.8. Retention:

  • the request archive on the server — 365 days from receipt, after which records are deleted automatically;
  • web server logs (IP address, browser information, page address, referral source) — no more than 35 days;
  • the server’s service log — 35 days;
  • technical specifications without a contract number that have not been put into production — deleted 180 days after the last change or confirmation;
  • technical specifications with a contract number or put into production — for the term of the contract and the periods set by law for keeping the documents relating to it;
  • deleted technical specifications — 30 days in the server bin; backup copies of technical specifications — 14 days.

Other data is kept in accordance with Section 7.
