Light composition LC0589 A light composition inspired by the topographic lines of a natural landscape. Hundreds of vertical glass elements form a complex volume recalling at once a mountain relief, ocean currents and the graphics of elevation maps. The upper contour of the composition changes smoothly along the whole length of the object, creating a sense of a living natural form frozen in space. The lower layer of the composition plays a special role. Here the glass elements form a multi-layered pattern of winding lines recalling the contours of relief on topographic maps. Because of the varying depth and density of the elements, the object changes constantly with the point of view. Each colour of glass creates its own mood: — clear amber shades recall sand dunes and rock; — cool blue versions evoke sea currents and glacial landscapes; — deep green shades recall the relief of forests and natural valleys; — rich ruby versions create the image of molten magma and geological faults.
